Does just what it says on the box!

Summary: It's very difficult to get very excited about a clear bit of round glass, however as they were bought specifically to protect new lenses I can only assume that they are doing that job 100% efficiently.
Pros: Clear Optics, Easy To Use, Firm Mount, Simple, Strong Construction
Summary: To save money, I bought a no name filter, and it was awful - terrible lens flare, reduced contrast, and a soft glow around everything. I upgraded to Hoya, and it's a huge improvement in every way. Just as sharp and clear as not using a filter.
