Perfect filter & Good Price

Rumpstk, Adorama
14 May 2013
  • Excerpt: I still use film for a number of reasons, and the filters are crucial for the types of photo's i usually take. Hoya filters have always performed as expected. Good quality control on the manufacturing side. The fair pricing is also a plus. There are better filters, yet these are hard to beat for the prices you pay.
  • Pros: Easy To Use, Good clarity, Lightweight, Reliable
  • Cons: A Little Thick

Very useful for protecting the lens

Frank, WEX
11 September 2013
  • Summary: Used to protect a Tamron 18-200mm lens. Requires regular inspection because the slightest touch by hand, lens cap, or rain droplet, leads to smears and light diffraction on the image. A more durable surface would improve this product. However, it serves its purpose - to protect the front lens element.
  • Pros: Durable, Easy To Use, Lightweight
  • Cons: Smears Easily On Touch
