Excerpt: An excellent filter for the price. Hoya has been a brand I've purchased numerous times before in the past, and they continue to produce a very good product. This one is used for cutting through UV light and protecting my lens. No complaints at all. Very satisfied.
Excerpt: It protects my relatively expensive Zeiss lenses and seems to be crystal clear. Tough to tell if it improves the photo quality any because I don't take comparative pictures with it on and off. Great price too...at least when I bought it.
Excerpt: I use this filter mainly as a protection for my Nikon 18-140mm lens. Not that it will protect from flying rocks, etc. but it keeps the lens clean and if dust or dirt does appear I can clean the filter to solve the problem rather than risk cleaning the lens.
Excerpt: very thin, much thinner than previous filter I used so much less vignetting at wide angle. Has threads that allow additional filter to be added. Also like finger grip ridges on rim that makes removing filter easier - especially important for narrow filter. Very pleased with it
