sticky and not impressed

  • Excerpt: It certainly works as a circular polarizer, but the movement is very sticky and hard to turn. Not sure if this is standard for this size or if this is just absolutely unacceptable atrocious QC. Either way, I am sending it back.
  • Cons: Difficult To Use, Poor Design

Hoya Circular Polarizer Filter

  • Excerpt: Hoya has different classes of filters but I chose the mid range because I don't use them that often. Yes, there are filters that cost several hundred dollars each but I have always trusted Hoya to give me a quality product. I purchased six circular polarizers at the same time so this review should do for all of them.
  • Pros: Compact Design, Easy To Use, Highly Compatible, Improves Performance, Lightweight, Professional Quality

Good Polarizer in this price range

Ken, B&H Photo
9 April 2013
  • Excerpt: I needed a polarizer in 62 mm for a new lens I purchased and tried one by another brand that gave weird color results. Filters are like many other purchase decisions you can spend from a little to a lot. This filter was kind of in the middle of the price range and I have had good experience with this brand in other filters before, so I decided to try this one. The quality is very good and the photo results were just as good too.
  • Pros: Highly Compatible, Improves Performance
  • Cons: None
