Summary: Got a new used lens, needed a polarizer for it, same size as my other lens. The other polarizer is a Quantaray, and is sticky to turn. The new Hoya, however, is silky smooth. This makes it easier to adjust without disturbing the focus. Hey, it's a Hoya - the best!
Summary: This is a nice, low cost circular polarizer. I use it to enhance outdoor photographs to make the sky a deeper blue color and to improve the contrast of clouds, etc., in my images. Its optics are excellent. PROS: Good value, excellent optics. CONS: Doesn't thread onto the front of some Sigma 55 mm lenses.
