Excerpt: I got this for a new Tokina 100mm macro lens, basically to protect the lens but also for some light conditions. It is adequate but not ideal: in particular, it is hard to rotate, especially when the (large) lens hood is on the lens. Also it doesn't seem to do quite the job that some of my Tiffen filters do.
Excerpt: Very nice filter. I wish that there was a little more to hold on to, as I have big hands, but from what I've seen I think that is true for all filters. I have not found the reduction in glare to be quite as intense as some have stated, but it is definitely very helpful. I did notice a slight dimming of the images, but it is not significant enough to cause much of an issue.
Excerpt: The polarizing filter has really changed the way my photos look. The colors are richer, and the sky is bluer, and it's been great taking pictures of all the new flowers in the spring time.

I've seen that the best results come at high noon, when the sun is at it's brightest, though I'm excited to try it out at dusk for my landscape water shots.

Good product.
Excerpt: I bought it for my Panasonic DMC-FZ50 (new 2006). I didn't know I could screw on other lenses, so I should have purchased this polarizer lens a few years ago. This lens makes a difference in contrasting the sky more. Great pictures.
