Excerpt: Excellent quality at an affordable price. Polarizer are more useful than most people realize - the downside is the expense. I find this Kaesemann to be every bit as effective as polarizers at almost double the price.
Pros: Clear Optics, Consistent Effect, Easily Mounted, Strong Construction
Excerpt: This is my second circular polarizer and a huge upgrade over my first. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a high-quality CP filter. Definitely cannot beat the quality of the glass or construction. B+W is definitely my go-to filter company from now on!
Excerpt: operates smoothly, very noticeable effect. this is one of those purchases you get under the excuse of "get the best so i don't have to upgrade later" and its completely justified. it has a heft to it, it doesn't bind or cross-thread. i'm using it on a 70-200mm f/4L IS and it never comes off.
Excerpt: High quality construction. Flawless glass. Bought a lot of junk before this. Don't be fooled by price. Lower prices usually means lower quality glass and that defeats your camera purchase no matter how good your camera is.
Pros: Clear Optics, Easily Mounted, Firm Mount, Strong Construction
Excerpt: The saying goes "the best things in life are free." Well sometimes the best things can be expensive, such as the three L lenses I have acquired over the past few years (and a couple of not cheap 3rd party ones as well.) I learned early on not to skimp with the glass on front, whether a clear UV haze, ND, or a CP. Your expensive lens is only as good as the filter letting in the image.
Pros: "post Card" Type Results, Clear Optics, Consistent Effect, Easily Mounted, Firm Mount, Strong Construction
Excerpt: You never know how much to spend on a photographic filter. Will one that costs $95 be 4 times as good a $24 filter? I use an expensive Nikon with an expensive lens, so why would I cheap up on a filter that needs to go on the front of my lens. It works great and I am pleased.
Excerpt: B+W has a world-wide reputation for top-quality filters, and it is well-deserved. Yes, they are expensive, but you get what you pay for. If you take outdoor shots, you need a polarizing filter.
