extra battery power and then some

Oma, B&H Photo

  • Excerpt: The battery grip adds weight and bulk to your camera, but is a nice addition and makes handling the camera easier. Gives you a better griping surface. The vertical shutter button is also great and makes composing your vertical shots easier.
  • Pros: Easy to Install
  • Cons: Bulky

Excellent quality! Matches t5i design!

  • Excerpt: Loving my BG! Performs as it's supposed to! Covered an entire day wedding, from Bride's makeup till the night party with my t5i / 24-70mm lens / 600ex-rt Speedlite Flash. Feels awesome, gives a plus on the weight to the camera and makes it feel sturdier, also great when capturing video with AA batteries (6 white eneloop), or even RAW video with ML (720p cropped).

Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy with the BG-E8

22 July 2014
  • Excerpt: This is the no nonsense version of the batter grip. The finish matches and the button function is perfect. The Battery tray holds 2 LP-E8's or you can load it up with AA's if you want (there is two draws that it comes with). The batter trap door pops off really easy from the standard camera body and it even has a little slip in piece to hold that door for you so it doesn't go missing...
  • Pros: Easy to Install, Reliable, Solid Construction
  • Cons: Bulky

30 June 2014
  • Excerpt: The battery grip from Canon is worth the money. It gives me a firm grip on the camera plus extra juice for more shooting time. The set-up instruction is also very simple to follow. No regrets, I should have bought this a long ago.
  • Pros: Easy to Install, Fast Recharge, Long-Lasting, Reliable, Solid Construction

New Equipment

Kathy the video girl, B&H Photo
25 June 2014
  • Excerpt: I use my Canon EOS T5i for lots of photos and video. This battery pack works great for both, is convenient and easy to use and allows me to take lots of video without running out of power. As an older woman I thought the extra weight would be an issue but the extra weight actually adds balance with longer lenses.

This is the third battery grip I've boug

toes_76, B&H Photo
27 May 2014
  • Excerpt: I put Canon battery grips on every DSLR I own or use. It adds much-needed balancing weight to the rear of the camera to help offset lens weight. Plus, it extends shooting time without having to change out batteries. I generally can shoot more than 2,000 photos on one set of batteries using this grip (of course, camera settings influences battery life, as well).
