Summary: I travel all over the county for work. My last trip took me from NYC to Chicago down to Omaha Nebraska then back home to NYC. I chargeg my batteries prior to the trip - I took a total of 398 photos and the battery indicator on the LCD shows I still have full power (I use original Canon batteries). Amazing!
Summary: I am always afraid that I would run out of power when you use electronics. I have a 50D that I purchased lat year. This product is a very good accessory to my DSLR. The feel is good and sturdy. It always help to buy from the same manufacturer. I would recommend this product to everybody who has an EOS camera.
Summary: It's great to finally have a vertical grip for my Canon, but this this is heavy. It's also larger than I expected. This is great when needed, but I'm quick to take it off when I don't need it.
Summary: Great for portrait work. I enjoy the feel of the camera in my hand with the grip - very solid. The weight can get to you, especially with a neck strap and a decent sized lens. But it's worth it - the next camera will have one.
Summary: Very easy to install on your camera. Grip feels great in your hands and having the extra battery makes this product worth every penny spent. I have use other brands items and they just don't compare to the Canon product.
Summary: Have been thinking about this grip since I bought my 30D, but couldn't justify it. Then we had to take an out of town trip for an all day rugby tournament. My son was going to play in as many as 5 games so I was worried about battery life and would have no place to recharge. Decided to take the leap and buy this, along with two new batteries. That trip was a month ago. I shot 5 games that day, and 3 more since for a total of 2000+ images..
Pros: Added amount of grip, Counter balances tele's, Easy to Install, Very long battery life
