impressed

  • Excerpt: I use this on my sony camcorder. I film horse clinics and yoga classes outside. While wind noise still gets through if the wind is blowing more than about 7 miles an hour, it is amazing what the mic can pick up, and the clarity of sound is very good considering the circumstances. Has added a much needed professional dimension to my being able to shoot outside. Highly recommended.
  • Pros: Easy to Use, Great Sound

Great Mic!

  • Excerpt: I used this mic mounted on a Sony RX10 and if performed beautifully! I love the fact that you can power this mic with the plug in power directly from the camera eliminating the need for another battery to carry around or replace. Great full bodied natural sound! I've been an audio engineer for 30 years and this sounds like the XLR version shot gun mic and I would highly recommend it as an option to the Rhodes and Shure mic options.
  • Pros: Easy to Use, Great Sound

Got exactly what I wanted

Woofi, Adorama
3 July 2013
  • Excerpt: I did get exactly what I ordered. It came faster than promised. What more could I want?<br />Shortly after getting a semi-pro video camera my dog chewed up my mic. I researched thoroughly and found that Adorama had a replacement that was probably better than the original. It was not supposed to arrive until the day after a wedding I was shooting. It arrived a day before, plenty of time to check it out. The mic performed beautifully.
  • Pros: Easy To Use, Good Interface With Camcorder, Improves Performance, Lightweight, Quality Construction
