Decent solution for existing Panasonic owners, but...

Summary: This attachment fastens to your Panasonic camcorder and allows you to shoot 3D for a fraction of the cost of the Sony or JVC 3D camera. However, there are compromises. The 3D is very subtle because the lenses are spaced so much closer together. It's fine for shooting baby's first steps or a flower patch, but don't expect to get multiple layers of depth past 10 feet. You also can't use the zoom, which would have been useful for getting more depth from further distances.
Summary: It works but that's about it. The camera it attaches to is great as a Hi-Def camera but the 3D has a way to go. There is no way to adjust the zoom in 3D mode (The only setting is at full wide angle) and the image looks like a box with 3D inside. In the 3D mode the alignment has to be adjusted it is difficult to keep adjusted. The use of a tripod is a must. Still, it's worth having the 3D attachment to have 3D images of my little boy.
Summary: Make video memoirs and documentary short films with your camcorder more vivacious by attaching to it the Panasonic VW-CLT1 lens. This Panasonic camera lens is compatible with the HDC-SDT750, HDC-SD900, HDC-TM900, and HDC-SD800 camcorders. You can take beautiful wide-angle shots with this Panasonic camcorder lens, as its focal length is 2.5 mm, almost equivalent to a 35 mm lens.
Summary: I give two stars, but this lens is not that bad at its current price. As others have said, there are some big drawbacks that come with this lens. Most important to me is adding this lens basically cancels out anything but full auto. No zoom, no scene settings, no time lapse, nothing, and most important for me NO MANUAL FOCUS! I hate when I'm shooting something and the camera decides it isn't sure what it's supposed to be focused on and starts to hunt.
Summary: I bought a used one. Works fine even after one year. It may not work with newer models. First time tuning is very confusing but a must else you will end up with ghost image. Video quality is very bad.. however can be used a fun product. Needs lot of light. Using it to shoot kids play, dance fun etc. Outdoor video does not have a very good 3D depth. M. Kumar.
Summary: I just got back from a vacation to Paris and Scotland where I shot a lot of video using this lens and the HDC-TM90P camcorder. I have watched the video and for the most part is looks great. Most average scenes just have more depth and don't pop like a movie especially designed to impress with the 3D - and for the most part this more realistic and is a good thing.
Summary: FITS MY PANASONIC TM900 PERFECTLY,CAME WITH AN ADAPTER FOR DIFFERENT MODELS, BUT DIDN'T NEED IT. THIS WAS A STEAL ON AMAZON. AN ELECTRONICS STORE HAD IT ON CLEARANCE LIKE NEW. GOT IT IN THE MAIL QUICKLY, DIDN'T GET TO MESS WITH IT FOR 3 WEEKS AND FINALLY I STARTED MESSING WITH IT AND COULDN'T GET IT TO LINE UP. WITH A LOT OF PATIENCE AND TURNING THE 3 KNOBS MANY TIMES ONE WAY OR ANOTHER, I WAS FINALLY ABLE TO LINE IT UP.
