Summary: Overall I am happy with my recent purchase. Haven't tried out yet but have got it all setup. I only noticed one issue. If anyone has used their gogpro camera before and ever ran out of battery, you probably went and purchased the extended battery pack. That battery pack will not fit flush against the harness and ends up pointing at a downward angle. I have the gogpro hero 2 camera. I know the hero 3 is thinner, but don't know if it will fit.
Summary: For someone who won't be using this camera much, I would go with the white edition. It will do enough for as little as you might use it and it is the cheapest. If you plan to use it for multiple sports or activities, I suggest the silver edition because you can shoot in wide angle in full HD. The chest mount harness is really good for mountain biking and whitewater rafting.
Summary: Great for scuba diving. Can use to video tape the whole dive in an almost panoramic style. I almost forget I'm wearing it. Not so great for Freediving though, because being under for shorter amount of time . This will cause you to miss a lot of things you wanted to record.
Summary: This is a great accessory for the GoPro. It is great for any sporting event, skiing, kayaking, bicycle riding, etc. Not as good for walking as it looks like you waddle when you walk and looking at it makes you dizzy to watch. Overall a good purchase.
Summary: once you buy a gopro you realize a certain mount works best for certain activities. I bought this for biking and general hands free use when I don't have a helmet and want a lower vantage point for a greater sense of speed. it does it's job well, is easy to put on and take off but the pricepoint is a little steep for nylon and elastic strapping with the standard gopro mounting system. overall good not great.
