System Error prevents start-up
Summary: Real hard to evaluate this calculator, since it would not get past the system error on start-up. I bought this calculator for my son in anticipation of taking the ACT, hoping he would get familiar with it well before test time. After several weeks, I asked my son how he liked the calculator.
Summary: The best Texas Instruments has to offer and a definite upgrade over the previous version of the TI-NSpire, which I owned for years. The much-needed rechargeable battery lasts a long time. The calculator itself is slim and feels nice in the hand.

Summary: Buy this for ACT or SAT test, and when you are done with it upgrade the software to CAS version. It won't be easy, but possible. Also, if you are concerned about battery life, this is whole lot batter as you never have to buy batteries again. It's not like iphone 5 I own, it last more than a day.

Summary: Should've looked into why not many people have this calculator when the CAS version exists. This calculator will do wonders for you, but you really need to sit down and learn all of the commands since this calculator is really a major step up from a Ti-84.
Summary: I purchased this calculator as a gift for a relative who recently entered an engineering degree program. Knowing the multitude of advanced math courses that he would be required to take, I wanted to make sure that he had a calculator that was technologically advanced enough to make solving complex...
Summary: I bought this to replace my TI-83 Plus. So far I am really happy with it. There is a bit of a learning curve at first when trying to find out where everything is. I do like the color screen and I like the lithium rechargeable battery.
Summary: The UI with this calculator is a major problem. I feel as if there is a huge gap between the user and machine. Sure, this calculator does what it says it does, but it leaves you with a little bit of disappointment. A sort of "that's it?" feeling.
