Texas Instruments does it again
8 February 2010
Summary: Very good calculator, has more options than we could ever need. Not much info on operation of the advanced functions, but thats our fault for not paying attention in school. Good buttons, clear screen and large number.
Summary: Superior handheld and desktop calculator. I have nothing but accolades concerning this product. Tried every brand imaginable and found this to be the best for my purposes. Infact, I bought spares to place in the other areas of the house.
Summary: I've owned this calculator since 1994 and it never has failed me. I'm still on the original battery and have been using it daily since I bought it. The only issue I've had with it is the plastic LCD cover popped off about a year ago after knocking it off my desk (not the first time it was dropped, either). I've taped it back on and everything is fine. If you want a good, durable, basic desk calc for everyday use, this is the one! It was the best nine bucks I ever spent!
Summary: OK, so it's not the smallest portable calculator to try and jam in your pocket. It's not one you want to take to your Calculus class or figure out P & L statements for your million dollar business. What it is, is the best desktop calculator for doing basic, every day type of calculations like balancing your checkbook.
