Summary: This calculator works pretty well, it has plenty of features. There's only two things that I didn't like about it. The first thing which is minor, is that some of the buttons are a little tilted, but it doesn't affect the functionality of the calculator. The second thing that I disliked about the calculator is that the back piece can't be added to the front of the calculator.
Good Cheap Replacement for TI-83 Plus Graphing Calculator
22 November 2014
Summary: I purchased this calculator to replace my TI-83 Plus graphing calculator when it unfortunately had computed it's last. I picked this calculator at the suggestion of my Statistics professor who recommended it as a cheaper alternative that would work similarly to the TI-83 Plus. It is like a hybrid between a scientific calculator and a graphing calculator. With one important difference that really affects my not so good math skills.
Summary: I love my TI-30XS calculator it works great for me. I could not find one in the store so I searched online for one and was so happy I found one! I needed for my GED classes. I love the price of it too cause most calculators are very expensive. It is so good to be able to order stuff off line! You can always find what you need a lot faster!
Excerpt: I needed a non-graphing/typing calculator for my college chemistry course but I wanted something with a multiline view and decided to buy this calculator. It has worked well since I'm Chem you have a lot of different calculations to make at times and need to keep track of what you've already input. I also really like how you can switch from scientific notation to save you the trouble of counting decimal places with some answers.
Summary: I teach high school math and I recommend that the students buy this calculator. The students really are comfortable using it. It is easy to use and has many functions that other scientific calculators don't have.
