Summary: I've been using a jumbo calculator for years and it finally gave out on me. This was a nice substitute and you cannot beat the price. Once I got used to certain buttons being in a different location on the keyboard, this was great.
Summary: I bought this calculator for my mom because her previous one of the same model stopped working, but she had been happy with it for the past ten years or so. It was a stocking stuffer, and it came in a few days after Christmas despite supposed 3-day shipping. I purchased one in "Very Good" condition from EXCELLENTCALCULATORS because I felt the list price was astronomical for a four-function calculator.
Summary: This model has been redesigned with a new ergonomic keyboard (keys are in curved layout) which takes a little getting used to, but works great. The new version of this model also features 3 new keys. [rate], [Tax+], and [Tax-]. The setting of tax rate, the +tax function, the tax- function, and the 'recall tax rate' function are nice bonus features. Many times I have customers ask 'what will be the price after tax?' and 'what is the tax rate here?'.
Summary: I bought this calculator to use away from home, to balance my check book while out & about!! I think it's perfect, big enough for many to see in case your eyes are in need of big #'s!! big enough to see what button your pushing & yet small & thin enough to put in your purse or glove box!!
Summary: Bought one to replace at 10-year old (can you believe it?) Texas Instruments solar calculator that's finally getting long in the tooth. Love the large numbers and keys and no purchase of batteries. Works fine under most conditions - dark rooms, no...
Summary: Great basic calculator for simple math calculations. I use it for counting carbohydrates and figuring my insulin amounts needed. I like the fact that it uses both batteries and solar power. Two rubber spots keep the calculator from sliding around the table top.
