The Texas Instruments TI-10 is a scientific calculator that is suitable for primary grades, with its comfortable multi-coloured casing. It has large, hard plastic colour-coded keys.

Features

The Texas Instruments TI-10 combines popular features of the TI-15 Explorer. There is a 2-line display that can support up to 11 digits per line. Besides that, it also allows you to view up to 2 entries and results simultaneously, as well as review and edit previous entries. The navigation keys consist of scrolling/ cursors up, down, left and right. In addition to that, the Texas Instruments TI-10 also allows you to view division results as quotients with remainders or decimals. Besides that, one constant operation shows counter and results. Other features include negation key, clear last entry or all entries and settings, separate “greater than” and “less than” keys, backspace and edit capabilities, and electronic flashcards for 3 levels of difficulty using the “level of difficulty” key. Besides that, students can also choose from +, -, x, / or “find operating” by choosing the “?” key. In addition to that, the Texas Instruments TI-10 also allows manual entry of a problem, as well as provides hints with “guess and check” feature. Numbers and equations as well as inequalities can be compared, with up to 23 levels of parenthesis, and error recovery capabilities. The Texas Instruments TI-10 incorporates EOS Equation Operating System that performs operations in M-D-A-S order, and runs on battery and solar power. Other than that, the Texas Instruments TI-10 also allows memory retention of settings and previous entries.
