Summary: Well this is a good calculator but I bought it to replace my Sharp EL-512. It does the same statistical calculations but it only has one memory. I was deeply disappointed as the 512 had at least 9. There are other calculators in this class that at least have three memories. The more memories the better.
Summary: It is getting hard to find calculators that do hexadecimal. 30 years ago, almost all calculators had hex and binary as well as decimal math. Now only a few do and this is the best one I have found, it replaces a Sharp calculator I bought about 25 years ago that still works, but sometimes refuses to turn off. That means it cost me about 50 cents a year to use. Good value in a day of so many disposable things that fall apart after six months.
Summary: I bought this scientific calculator because I needed to be able to do simple log and ln equations (and wasn't allowed to use a graphing calculator) and this is by far the worst, most frustrating piece of "technology" I have ever had. It couldn't do basic exponents!!! Let alone the log and ln. Do not waste your money, trust me. Spend the extra $5 and get a better one.
