Summary: I had a calculator like this and had given it to my son. I felt like I had lost something very important. I really like this calculator so I saw this and had to have it. It meets and exceeds my expectations. Thanks very much.
Summary: This is a very nice calculator. It has most of the features only found on a large desk top model. The keys are a nice size and it has a tilt feature for easy viewing. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5, is that it does not have a "Off" key. You have to let it do it's auto-off feature after 7 minutes of innactivity.

Summary: The SHARP ELSI-MATE EL-339HB 12 DIGIT CALCULATOR has been around for quite a time. Whilst other calculators get replaced by newer, (and usually less satisfying), models, (or, perhaps worse, never replaced by new models at all), this Elsi-mate EL-33-9HB caculator goes proudly on and on! I've had mine since 2004, and never get tired of looking at it, or using it. I use calculators - a lot. It IS boring to use the same calculators all the time..
Summary: OK, I probably could live without it, but I wouldn't want to! I have used this calculator every single day (Monday-Friday) at work for the past 2 and a half years. It's a great calculator and it's on my Christmas list this year so I can have one to use at home as well! I love the Cost, Sell, Margin functions. The buttons are nice and big, so you can easily punch in and crunch numbers on the fly. It's definitely durable - no problems at all in that department.
Excerpt: It is rare to find a 12 digit calculator in such a compact size. It fits easily into a small briefcase and has large keys and an easily read display. This is my third, I've had two others disappear at Real Estate Closings.
Pros: Adequate Capabilities, Attractive Design, Clear Display, Compact Size, Easy To Use, Long Battery Life, Quality Construction
Summary: Nice calculator. I like the number display. It is a good replacement for my old HP. I prefer numerous digits to numerous functions. I just use it for basic math and therefore would not want a cornucopia of functions. Have not had it too long, so can not vouch for durability.
