Summary: This calculator has everything I need in my business. It has a very good combination of features. It is easy to use. I really like to it has the "equal" button, it is easy to use, especially for people who are not accustomed to using this type of calculators. The size is right. I love that has two power options (batteries and electric power). The plastic buttons feel high quality. The printing system works very well. I'm really pleased with this calculator.
Excerpt: Bought two of these for the office. The subtract function never worked properly on either calculator. Thought it was user error until I shipped them to the corporate office and none of our calc friendly users there could get them to work properly either. Sad too because these were the perfect size for the small amount of use in this outer office.
Summary: This calculator takes a little getting used to, but that could be my fault too. Once I got the swing of it, it's great. Might need to go ahead and order some extra rolls of paper for it though....doesn't come with much at all. Overall....its well worth the money.
Summary: This isn't your cheap $8 calculator that's hard to read and the key spacing is a problem. I replaced a larger typical desktop blue-digit florescent printing calculator that cost 3-times what this little gem cost. Since I'm retired now, I didn't need a large space-taking monster on my desktop. Did I have to get use to the keys on the Sharp? Of course I did...but that's not a complaint like other reviewers have stated.
Summary: This printing calculator might be a good product, but I wouldn't know. In order to fit all the instructions on the front and backside of a single piece of paper in two languages, they have printed it with an extremely small font. Even with a magnifying glass it is very hard to read the instructions while performing the operation on the calculator. This is a perfect example of how saving a penny results in a terrible product.
