Summary: I will be giving calculators away for Christmas because i bought a few to many and i was in need for a different thing as far as counting like the wristband, live and learn, good prices so nothing is lost.
Summary: I just wanted a little calculator for my purse. No bells or whistles. Just to do comparison shopping and figure quantities of home dec and craft supplies without messing with the calculator option on my phone (not a Smart Phone). Sure the shipping was $5, but that was my estimate for one bought locally. A great deal.
Summary: It takes awhile to get used to pressing the keys so that they work. If you forget to turn off the calculator, it turns off automatically after 8 minutes. If you would like to replace the battery when it no longer works find the small screw with the battery cover and replace it with an LR1130 battery. I wasn't sure whether to give this calculator 3 stars or 4 stars so I played it safe and gave it 3 stars.
Summary: This little unit has a very solid feel to it. It also has a nice option of both manual and automatic shutoff features. It's a solar powered unit with battery backup. Note: Description states it takes an AA battery; however, the back of the unit clearly states an AG10/LR1130 battery is required (included). A tiny screwdriver, the type found in an eyeglass repair kit, will be needed to unscrew the battery compartment.
