Great little handheld, though probably not the ideal design for students or one-handed use on a desktop

Summary: For most people, this calculator is sufficient for the tasks as advertised. If you're a student or working professional, you should be aware of a few minor design flaws that could become an issue on time & accuracy-critical tasks. Now I'll admit, I was disappointed to discover that the clamshell hinge doesn't actually hold up the screen, but truthfully, it wasn't a big deal for me.
Summary: This calculator is thin, has quality buttons, lays nicely in your hand, and fits nicely in a shirt pocket. I have owned this one for several years now and it is still working great. Hopefully they keep making it.
Summary: I was looking for a small yet large compact calculator. With larger size calculators the buttons are just too large. Other calculators are made of really cheap plastic that are basically junk. This one is made well, easy to carry should I need to, but don't. I keep it for my check balancing and it has worked out great. Recommend this small yet easy to read calculator.
Summary: This is just like the one that my wife has used for years. Its great for carrying around in a purse or backpack, ect. Good tactile feel to the keys. Only downside is the display (which is plenty big enough to see at a glance) has poor visibility from an angle, so you have to keep the thing on top of whatever you are working on. This is the same with many LCD displays, but not with my 30 year old HP, so I know that it can be done better. Overall my wife likes it.
Summary: The calculator itself was not too bad but it arrived with dead batteries. The solar portion of it works fine but no light no numbers. Would only recommend this product to someone if we could get a fresh, fully charged (NEW) batteries installed.
