Summary: I had the FX602p for 25 years. It went everywhere with me until the case started to fall apart. I tried the HP35s but found it very unsatisfactory. Eventually I found the FX5800p... I didn't need any graphing functions... and found it to be the perfect replacement for my now dead 602.
If you need graphing, PASS. If you need power in numbers GRAB IT!

Summary: This is a powerful calculator with multiple display and entry formats. Multiple programs can be written and stored, then called upon by a short user given name on a menu. The language is a very twisted, and limited form of BASIC, but certainly functional.
Summary: Firstly, the dimension of the calculator is just right for most hands. This is an important factor because devices are designed for human use. Therefore, an ergonomic design is one of the winning properties of modern products.
Summary: Fits in a large shirt pocket, and seems durable. Good, well designed, user interface. Excellent functionality. No unit conversions. Not RPN, but better in every other way than the HP35s. Fantastic.
Summary: BEST PROGRAMMABLE CALCULATOR. HOPE MORE IMPROVEMENTS IN NEXT VERSION LIKE CONNECTING TO COMPUTER VIA USB AND BE ABLE TO MAKE PROGRAMS FROM PC AND EXPORT THEM TO THE CALCULATOR FADI_BOUSTANY_DSCI@HOTMAIL.COM
