Great calculator now that I learned how to use it!!

Marie M "miminanny", Amazon
27 August 2012
  • Summary: I am waiting on an email from seller on how to set the time. I agree with other buyers that the manual telling you how to operate the calculator is less than informative. After following the poor instructions many times, I gave up on setting the time which leaves me wondering if it really works or if I should send it back. I like some things about it-the paper roll does not continually fall off like my last small Casio- It is quiet.

Love it to death - and NO MORE RIBBONS? Insane!

Techie, Amazon
2 January 2012
  • Summary: Had a Casio 210 with RIBBON that finally broke down and wouldn't print any more, and switched to this one, primarily because same key layout as my prior Casio, except it's missing the SALES TAX function (hardly a deal breaker). * QUIET - it is whisper-quiet, no more clackity-clack * CLEAN - No more dirty fingers covered with ink when swapping RIBBONS * LEGIBLE Tapes!

CASOP DR-T220 DESKTOP CALCULAT0R WITH THERMAL PRINTER AND LARGE DISPLAY

Edith K. Farris "e k f", Amazon
5 August 2011
  • Summary: I HAD JUST ABOUT GIVEN UP ON FINDING A GOOD DESKTOP PRINTING CALCULATOR .. FOR YEARS I USED THE KIND THAT REQUIRED A VERY "TINY" LITTLE INK RIBBON TO BE INSTALLED ABOUT EVERY 3 MONTHS. By the time I installed that little ribbon I was the color of the ribbon, MYSELF, and so was my clothing.

Greatly Disappointed

D. Hague, Amazon
24 January 2010
  • Summary: Casio used to be a trustworthy quality brand name for small electronics. This product does meet the basic published specifications. However, the "details" should cause the potential buyer to look at some other product. To date, the key functions have been found to be counter-intuitive by five different people. The User Manual is worse than terrible. The support telephone number leads you into a maize that ends with a request for a chargeable credit card.

The best printing caculator I've ever own

Duk Young Choi, Amazon
16 September 2008
  • Summary: I have owned various printing calculators (3 from Sharp and two from other makers). Every one is broken now and I needed new one and bought this, because it doesn't need ink ribbon and the paper stays protected. This calculator is better than expected. It works very quietly and has many interesting functions like ability to change its font and store results. And this is much faster than those which use ink ribbon. I'm very satisfied with this calculator.

AWESOME, I love this calculator Fast and super quiet

MBK, Amazon
19 April 2008
  • Summary: This calculator is great. The printer is so fast and yet so quiet. You can barley hear it print verses those loud clicking calculator printers. The paper is a snap to load you don't even have to feed it in. Just drop the roll of papre in and close the lid.

Good machine, Terrible instructions.

Ira Solomon "Old Geek", Amazon
1 September 2007
  • Summary: I ordered this machine because I wanted a large, bright display. My eyesight isn't what it used to be. And the display is great. The manual, however, is awful. It is in many languages. The print is small and what it says is not very informative. It does show samples. If you are used to this type of machine, it is probably adequate, but I'm not. I have been able to use it, but I haven't had the patience to learn all the things it can do.
