Bad purchase

Bucky11, Officemax
28 May 2014
  • Excerpt: Keeps adding zero's to the numbers; or it will take away zero's when needed. Continuously try to reset it, but eventually goes back. Can't deal with it any longer. Now have to look for another calculator when this one should have lasted alot longer.

WORKS GREAT

Brandy, Staples

  • Excerpt: Great adding machine - it was just what I needed. It prints smoothly, and hasn't jammed - I don't know yet how long the ink will last but it seems to suit my purpose.

A tale of two calculators

Shelby Wilson, Amazon
15 May 2014
  • Summary: I love this model calculator. I own probably 10 of them. I am an accountant. My last order was for two more. I opened and begin using one of them at home and kept the other one unopened. The one i opened lasted about six months and then started to act really weird. I hit the reset button and it would be ok for a while. Then it would go all weird again. The decimals would go randomally and the totals were incorrect.

Way too many problems for a new machine!

Michelle, Staples
7 May 2014
  • Excerpt: I purchased my calculator in Sept 2013. One Monday, I came in to work and there was, literally, 6 feet of blank tape ran through it. It had been OFF the whole time! I thought someone had been playing with it. It started to advance the tape while I was sitting next to it, and the switch was in the "OFF" position. I started to just leave it on because it was wasting so much of my tape! It also "loses its mind" as some of the other reviewers have said.

Works great but has "ghost" mode

  • Summary: Works great with my light use but when off it will still feed paper. Electricity leaks across (I guess) in ghost mode lol.

works great but a bit too big

Sandy, Amazon
5 April 2014
  • Summary: It works very well. I like large numbers and keys feel fine. I add very fast and it seem to keep up, so the speed is OK for me but it literally took half of my 27" deep desk, but I guess all heavy-duty professional calculators are big like this. And I also wish it would come in a lighter color, not just black. I've been using Casio DL-220A (in cream) for over 20 years. Finally, the printing mechanism gave up.

Casio needs some quality control

Jean M. Emery, Amazon
27 March 2014
  • Summary: I have used Casio calculators for over 35 years, we even sold them at our office supply store. My last PR 121 finally died after 20 years. So, I of course bought another Casio. Mistake! I have had to send back 2 in the last 6 months. They won't hold the add mode. I won't buy Casio again. -breaks my heart.
