Summary: I purchased this calculator to replace an older model Canon calculator MP49D that I had for years. I wanted a heavy duty calculator with the same footprint as my old calculator because I was so use to it.
Summary: I love the Canon calculator - it does everything that is needed for office purposes. I am currently using the MP49DII in my current job - liked it so well I brought one for myself. Price is very reasonable.
Summary: It's a great desktop calculator. This is my second purchase of this model. Negatives: 1. The metal "wire" arm that holds the roll of tape appears not to stay up unless it is fully extended to the rear (180 degrees to the rear), which makes the calculator extremely long.
