Excerpt: I have only used this for one project so far, but it worked well. I have not used all of the features yet. Wasn't too noisy. Paper feed worked fine. I didn't use the printer all of the time. I liked the separate plus and minus keys. The keyboard layout worked well for the basic functions that I used. I haven't used it enough to go into more detail. If I used more complex functions I'd have more to say about the layout.
Summary: Hi I know these types of machines are becoming more obsolete: but for our purposes its exactly what we needed in our office. We had one in the office and both of us in the office couldn't use it at the same time. so we cought another as close to our old one as we could and its turning ourt great! I just wish they had the "paper roll holder" thats supposed to be attached to the back of the machine.
Excerpt: I bought this calculator to replace a Canon model that I had that was probably 35 or 40 years old. I am really glad I did. I was using a fairly large calculator and didn't want to resort to a very small one. This one fits the bill. The keys are spaced comfortably apart. The display is nice and bright and large enough to see. Probably the only negative aspect is the bar that holds the paper roll. The model I had previously had two arms that held the paper in place.
Excerpt: This product is being used in a retail business to calculate sales and tax. Prints quickly, is easy to read the printout and the readout. I read a number of reviews and decided to upgrade to this model and very pleased that I did. Used paper doesn't get tangled with paper role. Keys are a little spread out but believe this is just my need to adjust to a slightly larger calculator.
Pros: Adequate Capabilities, Clear Display, Easy To Use
I think that Canon desktop calculators are the best.

Summary: I prefer Canon desktop calculators to any others I have used. The MP series has its keys in positions that fit my hand. It has all of the functions that I need. I have found Canon calculators to be very reliable and durable.
Summary: I purchased this printing calculator in May of 2013. This week, April 23, 2014, it began to malfunction. I called Staples and asked about the warranty. I did not spend an additional $80 for a 2 year warranty on a $99 purchase. There is no warranty beyond the initial 14 days. I was given the phone number for Canon, which had been discontinued over 6 months prior. I purchased a new Sharp from Costco. It has a 7 year unlimited warranty. I am very disappointed in Staples.
