  I had to call canon to find out. i use the mp11dx model. Start by pressing down on the clock/calendar button for about 3 seconds. Then press the equal ( = ) sign to input the correct date. Same process for setting the time. then press the ce/c button to clear the data on the screen. When u want to print the date, press the calendar button. this will automatically print it. then press the ce/c button again so u can start calculating.
