This calculator is a lot better than the cheapo calculators that I've recently bought

Summary: This calculator is a lot better than the cheapo calculators that I've recently bought. I had to trash two previous calculators because they keys would occasionally get stuck when depressed. Those two calculators were in the 4-6 dollar range and were off-brand names. This time I chose the Canon calculator which cost several dollars more, hoping that it would be of higher quality. I was not disappointed! The keys work wonderfully. No complaints.
Summary: I had a calculator with a wireless USB interface, which was really handy but it needed batteries quite often. This calculator is really nice. Large display, large buttons, solar power, all awesome features. The 'send' button is life-changing. Here are my minor gripes: The supplied USB cable is REALLY short. The button layout is a little different than your standard 10-digit keypad on a PC. The location of the subtract function, divide, and multiply are different.

Summary: I bought a Dell Inspiron laptop, but it did not have a separate numeric key pad. I do a lot of numeric entry into an application and the across the top number entry is inconvenient and cumbersome. The numeric keypad entry system is much more practical. The instruction were almost worthless, but after a few tries I got the hang of using it. It has two modes, calculator, and PC direct entry.
Summary: Just what a laptop needs: numeric keypad and arrow keys not witin the keyboard. Big digits ae easy on the eyes, too. Used at home - I'm not an accountant, so my fingers move at normal speed, and this is good for folks like me.
