great device

ACW, Amazon
14 February 2014
  • Summary: I had a calculator with a wireless USB interface, which was really handy but it needed batteries quite often. This calculator is really nice. Large display, large buttons, solar power, all awesome features. The 'send' button is life-changing. Here are my minor gripes: The supplied USB cable is REALLY short. The button layout is a little different than your standard 10-digit keypad on a PC. The location of the subtract function, divide, and multiply are different.

Canon DK-100i ll 12 Digit Numeric USB Keypad Calcilator

Charles Scott, Amazon
16 June 2013
  • Summary: I bought a Dell Inspiron laptop, but it did not have a separate numeric key pad. I do a lot of numeric entry into an application and the across the top number entry is inconvenient and cumbersome. The numeric keypad entry system is much more practical. The instruction were almost worthless, but after a few tries I got the hang of using it. It has two modes, calculator, and PC direct entry.

Keys too small for me

CPA, Amazon
8 June 2013
  • Summary: The product would work great if I had smaller fingers. I badly wanted a keypad that would double function as a calculator. However, I am a CPA using a keypad 8 hours a day. Keys that are too small and close together do not work for me. The 1-9 keys are 5 cm wide by 4 cm long. The 1-9 keys that I use on my current key pad (that does not double as a calculator) are 5.5 cm wide by 5.5 cm long. This is a big difference if you are using your keypad all day.

Cool useful gadget

Jim Daniels, Amazon
26 December 2012
  • Summary: Just what a laptop needs: numeric keypad and arrow keys not witin the keyboard. Big digits ae easy on the eyes, too. Used at home - I'm not an accountant, so my fingers move at normal speed, and this is good for folks like me.

Wish they gave the actual size of the calculator

Gumbyizer, Amazon
21 December 2011
  • Summary: I have a large calculator that my wife likes to use. When I read through the specifications for this product, it said that the product was 10 inches by 8 inches, by 2 inches. That would be only slightly larger than the one I have now, and would be a perfect size. Unfortunately those are the dimensions for the packaging, and not the calculator. Why would I care what the size of the packaging is? The calculator itself is only 5 inches by 4 inches.
