Summary: I bought this to bake bread for my fiancee' who wants to go on a gluten free diet. So - why a 5 star? 1. It is very simple to operate 2. It works - flawlessly. I don't understand why folks are saying it doesn't work, bakes terrible stuff, etc. Please remember - baking and cooking are not the same. Make things easy on yourself - get a good kitchen scale. Weigh out product. Cups, teaspoons and the ilk don't always give the same amount of material each time.

Summary: This is an awesome machine. Have used it already to make three loaves of regular bread and two loaves of gluten free bread. It turned out the best gluten free bread that I have made in five years. Easy to use and comes with a DVD that shows exactly how to use it. So happy to have this bread maker.
WOW!! Absolutely LOVE this bread maker! Never go back to store bought again!!!!

Summary: Length:: 9:55 Mins This is my third bread maker...long ago bought a cheaper one and it made those tall flat breads....then it stopped working....I then bought the Cuisinart 200...what a BIG mistake...it burned my bread and pan kept popping out and bread did not rise properly..It made me not want fresh bread anymore and I put it away in the pantry....I started buying Panera bread which was over $7 a loaf and thought I'll try my Cuisinart again....how disappointing.
Summary: I've been using bread machines for 20 years. This is the second Zo that I've purchased. It's been a year since I bought this machine, so I have extensive experience with it. I do NOT buy processed foods; I make everything from scratch. I've used this machine, at minimum, twice per week. I love the machine! I originally had a vertical loaf machine. A few years ago, I decided I wanted a more traditional loaf bread machine.
Summary: Hi! I bought this back in May 2013 when my old bread maker gave out. I use it about three times a week, making two 1-1/2 pound loaves of white bread and pizza dough every Friday night. Luckily, I haven't had the issues that others have written about in their reviews--the machine has been sturdy and consistent. If I were to give some advice, it would be to make sure you have room for this on your counter.
Summary: I was able to make several beautiful loaves with this product, but only for 2 months. I was making one per week, and after that the paddles are almost completely worn down in the center. This makes the breadmaker very noisy to use. This also means parts of the Teflon coating/metal have been fed to my family. I am very disappointed with this purchase. I just purchased new paddles but they are nearly $20 a set. A product this expensive should be more durable.
Summary: I have always made my own bread..this is my first bread maker. I bought this bread maker at the suggestion of a close friend. Yes, it is expensive, and yes, it is worth it, and yes, I am thrilled that I listened to my friend and purchased this one. Have only used it twice, but I will be using it again. This is a heavy duty type of bread maker.....even the direction book is fantastic. Highly recommend to anyone thinking of buying one.
Summary: I've been using a bread machine since 1987 & rarely, less than once a year, do I purchase bread or rolls. I bought this machine to replace a Zojirushi Supreme model BBCC-x20 which I believe is still available. My old Zojirushi was 7 or 8 yrs old & the pan was scratched & the coating on the blades was starting to go. Figured it was nearing its life expectancy so replaced rather than repair. I just made my first loaf of my standard whole wheat bread & it's perfect.
Summary: While this is the best breadmaker I have owned to date, I have run into a few issues that I thought I should share. The most serious issue deals with some sort of defect. After about a dozen loaves of bread, the kneading cycle produces a loud squeak that sounds like the machine is tearing itself apart. I called Zojirushi customer service and they had me run a test cycle that skips the initial rest. We ran the cycle with the bread pan in the machine and with it removed.
