Excerpt: The West Bend 2 lb breadmaker consistently makes a good loaf of bread, with easy preparation and easy clean up. I've been using mine almost daily for three weeks, and have not been disappointed with the resutls.
Excerpt: I recieved this bread machine as a gift. I have to admit I had tried other ones but this is easy to use and easy to clean. The bread comes out nicely browned and is not under done in the center A major problem with lots of other bread machinesTry it you will love it!!
Summary: This is my first bread machine. I made my first loaf this week and it came out great. So easy, just add ingredients and turn it on. Only thing I'm having trouble with, is adding ingredients. Directions say last 5 minutes of kneading add currants.
Summary: It looked great when I opened the box, but when I added the ingredients and turned it on--chaos!! The light-up screen shows gibberish that doesn't correspond to anything in the manual, none of the buttons do anything useful, except for the up button. the down button doesn't even work.
Summary: Made one basic white loaf. It was pretty good and quite simple, although more square in shape than I was hoping for. Tried to make a second (wheat) and it wouldn't start up (kept clicking like it was cycling but never began the initial cycle).
Summary: Just got it... Looks really nice. Made 1 loaf of bread so far following the recipe book and game out good. Has delay functions so you can have fresh bread when you get home, run it overnight, etc. So far would recommend.
Summary: Most items can be put into two classes, it works or it doesn't work. This West Bend Bread Machine not only works, it excels at what it does and has yet to fail me. Out of 40 or 50 loaves, I've not had a failure which is more than I can say for some other brands I've owned.
