  • Excerpt: This is the 2nd breadmaker I've owned. It works well although can benoisy. Biggest fault is that the recipe booklet uses cups not grams.Manufacturer was unable to provide help so I reverted to the recipies frommy previous machine. Having made marmalade by traditional method I cannotbelieve the recipe could possibly work as there is no pre- cooking of thepeel. Machine quite good....recipe booklet poor.

  • Excerpt: I managed to make and bake a perfect loaf of italian garlic and herb bread within a couple of hours of buying this breadmaker. And I have had nothing but success since! A brilliant piece of machinery.

  • Excerpt: Id agree with other reviewers that the recipes in the user guide need work. For example, with the 2lb `basic white` loaf we halved the amount of sugar as it seemed excessive, the loaf came out perfectly and tasted much better. The wholemeal recipe was harder to get right, if you follow the one in the book itll sink.

  • Excerpt: After much dithering about buying a breadmaker, I decided to buy this model. I bought it direct from Amazon at a very reasonable price, along with the book, Fresh Bread in the Morning. The machine is brilliant! I have made all kinds of rolls, bread and sweet loaves and all of them have turned out perfectly. The timer feature is great and allows me to wake up to warm fresh bread for breakfast.

  • Excerpt: We were very disappointed with this purchase. Not a single loaf was acceptable and all had sunken middles. The help desk suggested making alterations to the recipes - strange as you would expect these to be optimal to start with. When these didnt work we asked for our money back and they refused. We then bought the more expensive panasonic with seed dispenser and it is awesome for pizzas, breads, panetones etc..

  • Excerpt: This is the 2nd Morphy Richards breadmaker I`ve had in 6 years. They have both stopped woring due to the element going, they have both been used infrequently. They`ve worked for just over 2 years. When they did work I had wonderful results everytime. When I`ve gone to the web site for spares you can`t by an element, they want you to purchase a new machine, well I`m sorry to say I won`t be buying Morphy Richards again.

  • Excerpt: I have to say that I have not had any problems so far with this machine. Its the first breadmaker Ive had and am very happy with both the white and wholemeal loaves that I have made since buying it a few days ago. I have also made a cake in it and am very pleased with the results. I am a bit worried about some of the comments I have read! Hopefully mine will not do the same!

  • Excerpt: Have had this one for a few months now, but despite many calls tomanufaturer, still cannot get the perfect loaf every time. Most unhelpfuland eventually told me I had a faulty machine, as the plastic in the lidhad buckled. Followed the recipe book to the letter but still got thesinking loaf or the mushy strange tasting brick.
