Simple to use

  • Excerpt: Clear and easy to follow instructions, as a first time user of a bread machine I was able to produce a very acceptable loaf at my first attempt. I am looking forward to trying my hand at different types of bread. I see a new hobby on the horizon.

Home baked Bread...with ease!!

Ballinger, Argos
25 February 2015
  • Excerpt: Haven't stopped using this breadmaker since I purchased it... Everything I've baked so far has been really good, only problem I had was that I put the paddle in upside down on the sixth or seventh time I baked, and, although the bread turned out beautifully, I'm afraid it has scratched the base surface... Perhaps design could be changed so it can only be put into the pan one way.....just a thought. Baked bread & cake mixes too, and these have also come out perfectly!!

very simple for first time user

  • Excerpt: First time I have used a bread maker and haven't looked back since. Very straightforward controls and as long as you put ingredients in the order they are specified pretty foolproof. Only criticism it can take up to 3 hours to bake a 1 1/2lb loaf. suggestion would be to use the dough setting instead and then bake in conventional oven.

inedible bread

Barbie, Argos
17 February 2015
  • Excerpt: My breadmaker of about thirty years fell and cracked so I bought the Morphy Richards model . It bakes a sort of flat brick affair that you may be able to use for toast?? I am so disappointed. I tried it twice on the most basic cycle and checked all my freshly bought ingredients and the yeast and everything else is fine. I hope the machine is faulty and this is not the standard it is supposed to be.

Browns crust too much

  • Excerpt: Even though this machine does cook the bread to a good standard. It how ever does over cook the crusts too much. Still I would recommend this product.

Excellent All Round Bread Maker

Gareth, Argos
10 February 2015
  • Excerpt: This was a replacement for a very similar bread maker made by Swan, so I knew exactly what I was getting. The instruction book has been updated with weight as well as cup quantities for flour and the like. This makes it a lot easier to use. The controls are laid out well, easy to read and easy to use. Overall this produces great bread that taste great and make the house smell wonderful, you can't get better than that.

  • Excerpt: I bought this following my last one giving up. I love making home made bread but have found that after trying lots of recipes I have finally found one that doesn't come out of this bread maker feeling like a brick. The bread comes out looking like a proper loaf.

Great for those who enjoy freshly baked bread without having to do the work!

Postgrad, Amazon

  • Summary: As a baking afiocionado, I missed being able to do my weekly baking as my university accommodation didn't have oven facilities in the kitchen. So, I ordered this breadmaker. It arrived in great condition though I must say it is heavier than I anticipated a portable one to be and I cannot keep it in the kitchen due to the space it consumes. Having said that, my first use of the machine yesterday went well and I baked a wholewheat bread.
