Summary: I bought this for my daughters birthday, and we opened it up and made our first loaf together on the eco setting, really easy literally one-touch. It worked well, and the recipe book that came with it was a very nice full color one, unlike the usual black and white ones. Simple one touch options, although not with a completely programmable option if you wanted to create your own custom program.
Summary: I am very pleased with the Kenwood Breadmaker which I bought to replace a Panasonic model which was in constant use for 7 years and had been pretty good. The bread is perfect and you can have a lovely soft crust if that is your preference. I have so far tried 3 different programmes as well as the timer.
Summary: The paddle comes off during the bread making process causing the loaf to have an inverted top and very heavy base - inedible. Tried all the tricks and checked ingredients multiple times. But I note from other reviews is that this is a known issue but with no solution. I am returning it and will go for another brand.
Summary: Really good product, sturdy, easy to use (follow the recipe book precisely to start with until you get a feel for the different ingredients and processes) very easy to clean. I've made everything from whole meal buns to cinnamon raisin bread to rhubarb and ginger jam! Remember to put the mixing paddle in he mixing bowl before any ingredients, and never fill the mixing bowl whilst it's in the machine, and 1 lesson learnt don't be tempted to lift the lid to have a little...
Summary: I like this product - the bread produced is wonderful and I have not bought bread since I purchased the Kenwood in January of this year. Makes a wide range of loaves so is very versatile. However, I am very disappointed with the fact that the kneader remains inside every loaf - customer services have been very helpful by sending a replacement blade of a different design but to no avail.
Easier Instructions and easier receptive.book for older do persons.

Summary: Because did not find instructions very plain especially for two 82 year olds need very straight forward instructions and may be a recipe book for older customers, having said this we struggled through and have made several loaves, main problems was timings can you help in any way to make our bread making sessions easier, step by step in plain language would help, many thanks, Joy Mowat.
Summary: Delighted with everything. I hadn't used a Bread maker before but it wasn't difficult to get into the swing. I've already recommended it to friends and would be happy to buy the same mo0del again ... provided this one stands the test of time and I'm sure it will.
