Excellent results, minor (so far) concerns

Mr. V, Amazon
2 November 2014
  • Summary: My 12-year-old Oster machine gave up the ghost (the shaft for the mixing paddle froze up for good after years of being sticky), and this machine was on sale. This was an amazing value in my mind. The sophistication of the programs and the heft of the machine are impressive.

We have used this so much in the seven years ...

D. Ryan, Amazon
18 July 2014
  • Summary: We have used this so much in the seven years we have had it. The little paddle in the pan died, but I cannot complain that it was a manufacturing problem. No complaints about this machine at all.

Easy to use Bread Maker

  • Excerpt: I love making bread for my family. However, I don't always have time to make bread by hand. Doing so means kneading the dough and then letting it rise. I just don't have time to finish all the steps before going to work. This bread machine really helps me out on busy days.

Great for dough, terrible for bread.

  • Excerpt: This bread maker is good for making dough that you pull out to shape, final rise, and bake in your oven. Loaves baked directly in the machine come out far inferior to anything you make in your oven. I use it regularly, but only for pizza dough and French baguette dough.

  • Excerpt: This machine is my baby. When my hubby and I received a Williams and Sonoma gift card as a wedding gift, I knew right away that I wanted to use it to get my bread machine. Luckily the husband agreed!

Makes Good Bread but Noisy

Douglas M., Newegg
8 February 2014
  • Summary: I make the 1.5 lb loafs as they are not much smaller than the 2 lb loafs.
  • Pros: Makes Great bread. Easy operation. Looks Good.
  • Cons: After about 6 loafs the machine started making a louder fan noise, acceptable but annoying.
