Summary: My 12-year-old Oster machine gave up the ghost (the shaft for the mixing paddle froze up for good after years of being sticky), and this machine was on sale. This was an amazing value in my mind. The sophistication of the programs and the heft of the machine are impressive. Results have been impressive as well -- even better loaves than before. It has an extra kneading cycle compared to the old machine, and that works wonders on whole-wheat bread.
Summary: We have used this so much in the seven years we have had it. The little paddle in the pan died, but I cannot complain that it was a manufacturing problem. No complaints about this machine at all.
Excerpt: We are impressed with this item. I selected Cuisinart over all others because of there name and reputation for quality. I did not expect the simplicity of operation we found with our first use. The instructions were clear and concise. Followed step by step our first bread was a success.Dealing with ABT electronics was a first experience for us as well; it will not be our last.
Pros: Consistency, Delicious Bread, Easy To Clean, Easy To Use, Quiet, Simple Settings
Summary: We received our bread machine quickly and use it regularly! It worked great at first, but we started having problems shortly afterward. The basket comes loose from the turner gadget in the bottom of the unit. My husband figured out a way to brace it in so we can still use it; otherwise, I'd be really upset!! Not too happy!!
Summary: I had tried on numerous occasions to make gluten free breads at home. I was unsuccessful everytime until I got this marvelous bread maker. It makes gluten free bread, seem like regular bread, The texture come out great and the machine is super easy to use! I can't say a single bad thing about this machine!
