I have always had to make the bread by hand in the conventional oven and heat up the entire house, which on a hot summer day is not that great, but with this one I can easily bake bread. There is no more worrying about how to make it low carb or healthy because this machine has settings for that built in and it even comes with great recipes to use as well. Read more

The bread maker is easy to use and makes a great loaf of bread. The recipes that are included are helpful. The shape of the loaf is great for sandwiches, especially when the slices are cut in half. Using rapid rise yeast helps each loaf turn out great. Light weight, compact but does not move when the kneading process is going on. Pasta and Jam feature makes it versatile. The controls are easy to use too. Read more

  2. Don't buy it!

Short story: bought the machine, attempted three times to make basic white bread from the recipe booklet, and wound up with dense heavy collapsed bread that clearly did not rise properly (despite very careful measurement of ingredients, adding it all in the proper order, and three different yeasts!) There clearly is something wrong with the rise times on this machine. Returned it and bought the Panasonic. Don't buy it, don't buy it, don't buy it! You WILL regret it. Read more or see product

I've always wanted a bread maker- I thought I was buying good quality. I bought lots of ingredients to make gourmet bread for Christmas gifts! I put the ingredients in the pan and inserted it into the machine, the pan kept popping off of the spindle! It would not knead! I called cuisinart and they said that it sounded like I was doing everything right. They offered to send me a replacement by the end of JANUARY! Bad customer service! Uncaring! Read more

The lid doesn't seal all the way - I've had 2 and they are exactly the same. I even put a 5lb bag of flour on top of it to try and hold it down to make sure the temperature stays correct. No matter how hard I try, any time I make any type of bread in it, when it gets into the 2nd rising setting it falls. I have better luck making bread the old fashioned way. Read more
