Summary: It's a great radio, but CD player CONSTANTLY SKIPS and the volume sucks on that function. I had purchased it in order to play my CD's, but won't use it for that because on that function, IT CONSTANTLY SKIPS and the maximum volume is so trite, it's as if you're playing it only loud enough so that someone else can't hear it. All in all, a useless appliance because the CD PLAYER IS USELESS.
Summary: I should have paid attention to the other reviewers that said their radio died after a few months but I thought maybe they received a defective radio. Well, so did I. I only used it to play a lullaby CD in my daughters room at night. No other heavy usage. It stopped working after 2 months.
Summary: I ordered a portable CD Player from Supersonic (thru Amazon) and received a call a few days later saying that they were out of red, but instead of backordering it, I had a choice of getting it in black. Since I needed the product by a specific date I agreed to get it in black. But what actually happened was that I received a different model. When I called to ask what happened I was told that even though it was a different model it was the same as the original red one.
Summary: I purchased this and have barely used it yet. The return time expired even though I've only had it two months. I've maybe used it five times and it's skipping terribly. I would not purchase this again.
Summary: I bought this for my kids' upstairs toy room. While you can't expect sound quality to be on par with a more expensive stereo system, it serves its purpose well. It doesn't sound overly "tinny" like some do. My 3-year old daughter loves putting in her own CDs and turning it on and pushing "play" all by herself. We haven't had any issues with CDs skipping like some of the cuter, child-oriented alternatives on the market.
