Summary: Great sounding boombox. I have the zss31p & this one zss41p. Both are great. The 31p plays iPhone 5 & items with the lighting connector.....this one the 41p plays the iPhone 4 & earlier plus the iPod classics with the wide 30 pin connector. I really don't see how it can play the newer units with the lighting connector......not without an adapter of some type. But it's a really nice boombox.
Packs many nice features but there is "no Boom in this box"

Summary: I like that this device packs many features- It is portable, has Fm radio and plays CD's and Ipod. Has a remote- runs on A/C (with cord) or D/C .(battery compartment -C size batt) It has a compartment that keeps ipod away from dirt and sand when at the beach /out doors. The sound is disapointing though as it does not play very loud even on highest setting -I keep the Mega bass setting on which improves the sound only slightly.
Summary: Full bass, treble, and amplied sound that rivals car stero HD radio system. Easy to operate. Plug in and go. Pleasently surprised with intuitiveness of operations/ease of use for a non-techie person, as well as the rich, developed sound quality. Not tinny, shrunken, muffled sound. My iPhone 4S fit easily into component. Bought another one based on superior quality of first. Love it!
Summary: This does all the things the ad describes that it will. I especially like the remote control for my preschool application. It allows me to stay seated on the rug with the kids and still activate the boombox (and it's safely out of reach of little hands). It could be a little louder, but it's as good as any other I've had so I'm not complaining.
Summary: I needed a portable MP3 player for my iPod that would also play CDs. This has met all expectations so far. The nice surprise was a handle that folds neatly into the top thats not noted in the prduct description. Recommended.
Summary: I wanted a boom box for my cubie in the typical concrete and steel office building. This works perfectly. It protects my ipod from dust, has great sound and has been reliable. Radio reception is better than others I've had in the past. I've created custom play lists for ipod and my cubicle dwelling neighbors enjoy the music too.
Summary: I got this for my wife who wanted something simple to use for CD's. That it plays iPod tunes is a bonus, and I just happened to have an old, 1st generation iPod Touch laying around with nothing to do. The unit DOES look 80's, but that's NOT to say it looks BAD. Many "boom boxes" look positively ugly these days (2012), and this one though large, has a very understated design. The radio and the CD work well and for their intended purpose.
