Summary: Everything works well. The USB feature is a definite plus. I'd say the only reason NOT to buy this is if you want some crazy loud sound. It's pretty loud for its size and price, though. Probably louder than it looks, I will say that. But not for working in a factory or anything.
Summary: This radio looked like a great deal when I got it. However, it doesn't hold the radio station memory after being unplugged even with six C batteries installed. It will not play on batteries alone either. Sound is pretty good though the mega bass feature is a joke. I never got a chance to check out the other features though the radio reception was good. Have returned it and purchased a more expensive Panasonic unit. Hopefully I will have better luck with that one.
Summary: Well, I bought this for the usb function and am/fm radio. All portable stereo's should have USB and iPod charging and auxiliary inputs. Most don't. Why? We live in 2013 and off the shelf stuff in NJ does not have USB, only some have auxiliary input and few have iPod charging/input. CD's and Tape players are done, manufacturer's need to get it into there thick skulls. Duh.
Summary: I have never reviewed an item in the past. I am so very unhappy with this Sony product that I have to respond. The unit has everything i was looking for but it sounds like crap. I have had very good SONY products in the past. I am very very disappointed with this one! I could get better sound from 2 tin cans and string. I know that sounds bad. You should look for something else. NO REFLECTION ON AMAZON.I love AMAZON!
Summary: I ordered the Sony CD/MP3/USB Multimedia Radio twice from two different sellers and both times I received the wrong model both times they shipped me the one with the cassette player not the USB as described!
Great, but Spanish Instructions & No Remote Capability

Summary: This is an update to my previous review. Forget what I said about ordering a remote from Sony to replace the one that doesn't come with this unit, although it still says "complete with remote" in the product description area of the website. After ordering the remote that Sony support says works with this unit ( twice ) I finally found out after many calls to Sony that this Latin American version of radio not only doesn't come with a remote, it has no IR "remote sensor"...
Summary: It's great because of the USB feature alone. I have owned 2 of the previous ones which did not have the USB. They were good but this is far superior in that the USB is more trouble free. I have 4,000 songs on one SD card and the function set on shuffle. It just plays for weeks and so far without a glitch. the old MP3 CD function on the player would always develop problems and stop working indicating "disc failure, no disc, and other things.
