Summary: I bought this boombox as a small and cheap last-minute replacement for a broken stereo system, but "cheap" certainly doesn't describe it! This boombox packs a lot of sound in a small package. The speakers produce a clear, rich, thoroughly enjoyable sound, and the controls are extremely intuitive and easy to use.
Summary: I have had this unit for quite a while I think I got it when it was on sale. I still use it in the bedroom listening to cd's putting me to sleep at night. Great deal. The controller is another story if you make a controller with all the same size buttons with no distiguishable pattern make it illuminate so you can see it at night. I have memorized many controllers by use but this one I still have to turn on a light to find the right button.
Summary: Valentine's Day is my one chance per year to make up for all the stupid, lazy, thoughtless, horny, arrogant and unromantic things my wife has put up with since the last V-Day. My only hope to get out of the doghouse and back in the bunkhouse is to pull off a Grand Romantic Gesture that makes her forget the Neanderthal she lives with for 364 days in between. Also, I don't want to spend too much money. Some of that stupid, lazy, thoughtless stuff can get pretty expensive.
Summary: Hello. This is my first review here on Amazon. First off. I have owned this product for about 5 years now, and It is saying working great. I used the alarm feature for nearly 3 years before I got a better alarm system, closer to my bed. The sound quality is great and meets my expectations. and I always have the Mega Bass option on.
Summary: This is an inferior product. I bought it mainly for use on vacations or as something on which to audition tapes or discs when I don't feel like using my component system. Even for these limited uses, it is bad news. Despite its limited use, the CD player tends to skip on discs that play perfectly elsewhere. The tape player is even more unreliable. Sony puts sound mode settings on this unit, but they make absolutely no difference, regardless of the source.
Summary: I liked this after seeing so many tacky looking stereos when shopping. This looked somewhat simple. I have had it for over 2 years and use it almost nightly (the radio or CD player) to put my son to sleep. My only complaint is tht the radio has to be tuned on the CD seek/scan buttons. You can't hold them down to go quickly, so changing stations can be time consuming and annoying. They should be on the dials (one controls volume, the other to your radio presets).
