Summary: This is junk! Same thing as the others. CD player quit working immediately and the miserable flashing light display. So much for the Sony name that used to mean quality. This is going in the trash and we are DONE with Sony products!

Summary: I have had my boom box for years and love it. Best one I ever had. I have the silver one. It has worked fine for many many years. The only problem I have with mine is the back lit colors change all by themselves. Otherwise it still works til this day and I have had it since I was probably back in high school which was 9 years ago.
Summary: I had my PSYC for about 8 years. I actually bought mine at a garage sale, so it was used when I bought it. For how long, I'm not sure. But...I had it in my bathroom the entire time I've had it and with all the moisture and whatnot, it held up great. The sound was so-so. It wasn't the loudest, but it had a good, clear sound. It played almost any CD put into it.
Summary: I seen this stereo in Target along with other colors back in 2003. There were .Red, Yellow, and i think black. Great item i really am enjoying this it is so creative. I missed out all theses years on one but i do have the blue and red cd walkman. Great products.
Summary: Interesting to see all the other "no disc" issues. I bought this new and it has never seen sunlight - it's in perfect cosmetic condition as it's always been perched in the corner of the kitchen and tuned only to the local NPR station. Sound is fine, small footprint is convenient, and I use the 60 minute radio-off timer most days. I probably had only played 10 CDs in the 10+ years I've owned it, but sure enough, I get "no disc" message anytime I try.
Summary: I purchased this device a few years ago and have never been happy with it. Firstly, it is very difficult to setup anything on it...time...presetting channels. Anytime I want to perform some function, I always have to refer to the manual. I bought it thinking that Sony produces good products, however, in this case I was wrong. The controls for the tape cassette are counter intuitive and the tape stopped working after about 1/2 year. Stay away from this one.
Summary: This thing was great. Paid up for it because it had remote control the size of a large lipstick case. I was in heaven. Kept remote on my desk and could control sound remotely when I was on the telephone. Then the end of goodness: the CD player portion began to fail part-way through a CD. The motor sound could be heard through the case but the CD was not turning.
Summary: When I purchased this item, I was in a tiny college dorm single. I picked this product out of the lineup because: 1. It is a Sony (You can't deny that Sony has a great run of products) 2. Compact design and clever handle 3. Despite its size, it still includes a cassette if ever the mood strikes to make a mix tape Admittedly, I had BIG expectations for such a small product. My problems with the product were: 1. Bass only has an "On" or "Off" setting.
Summary: This CD/FM radio/Cassette player has a totally modern look to it. So much so, that this is the second one I have had to purchase due to the fact that someone else obviously liked it so much, they stole my first one. It has a great radio that I use at the office, a remote control that allows me to mute the sound when I get phone calls, and a great CD player. The jog dial is somewhat confusing to use, but the tuning buttons work well.
