Summary: I bought this item as a gift for my mother at Christmas. She especially liked the radio feature as she likes to listen to a news program that comes on at 8:00 a.m. on an AM channel. Unfortunately, the radio feature of this item crapped out about eight months after I had purchased it, which appears to be outside the warranty window. I was extremely disappointed.
Summary: This is a great little standard radio. Big enough to make a difference, but small enough to move from place to place without hassle. Definitely not the best on the market as far as sound is concerned, but for the price, you can't beat it. The dog already knocked it off the grill and it still works just fine, so it appears to be rather durable as well.
Summary: I bought this boom box to replace the one I had. This one looked just like my old one from the picture in the AD. It was suppose to be silver and black but instead it was all black. This isn't what I expected but was OK. All the features worked as expected just like my old one. However, the sound quality didn't live up to what I expected from a boombox. The sound was tinny with absolutely no bass and no way to boost it.
i'm surprised there are so many bad reviews - mine is great

Summary: i have it in my kitchen - a friend gave it to me as a birthday present. and though sometimes my cds skip a little, that is probably the fault of my old cds. i've had it for four or five years, i guess, and i've never had a problem with it.
Summary: I actually purchased two of these pieces of junk-one for home and one for my classroom so my kindergartners could listen to stories on tape via headphones. I paid $60 for each one. The one I was using for home lasted 3 months! On Christmas Day it stopped reading my cds. Nothing I did would make it recognize them. AND the company would not refund my money due to their return policy! The second one bought for my classroom is of no use to me as there is no headphone jack.

Summary: While this is just a basic, single CD player with an AM/FM radio, it has one unique feature that I needed and that is why I love this little guy at its little price -- its CD player has Programmable CD memory and Audio CD/CD-R/-RW playback--in layman's terms this means that CD's that you burn on your computer will be no problem on this little guy at less than $40. We use this at my school library all the time.

Summary: So glad I can review this. This is a bad item and UNSAFE! As in, it may cause a fire. First, the CD player died 4 months after using it. It was only used for 20 minutes or so every night to put my daughter to sleep, so no abuse there. And, it was never moved from where we put it from day one. So we got her a MP3 player, and again, used it for only 20 minutes or so each night for sleeping.
