Summary: This player works great for my needs. Simple to operate, sounds great as JVC always has, in my experience. Can't go wrong here! Nowhere does it say this is a 'Boom Box', so I don't know why anyone would expect that.
Summary: I read the two previous reviews and decided to take a chance. Ok but not great. It's compact and easy to use but has rather poor, flat sound quality with limited highs and lows. Could use a tone adjustment knob or a mini-equalizer.
Summary: This radio is a pretty nice radio its very portable and light weight. I would have expected the sound to be a little better though. The FM radio is good a little hard to get clear reception on some stations. The auxilary in is a nice feature. Overall it a good radio for the money.
Summary: I bought this because I needed a radio for work. I was tired of going through ear buds every few months. I saw it at Frys for 25 bucks and decided to give a try. It does exactly what I need it to do. It picks up stations I love to hear and I can hook my phone up to it.
Summary: I bought this radio for work because it could play cd's as well as the radio in addition to being able to play an mp3 player with its auxiliary port. It is extremely portable and there is no learning curve whatsoever. It did exactly what I bought it for.
Summary: I bought this item for my one year old daughter to listen to music at bedtime. Plays cds great. Doesn't skip when bumped by a 1 year old. Analog radio tuner is as good as any other analog tuner. Hard to tune into some radio station; not sure if it's placement in the house or the antenna.
Summary: I got this as a Christmas present for my boys the sound quality isn't very good at all and the cd player doesn't like to play disc that have any blemishes at all on them, even though my other cd players play them just fine.
