Summary: Coby makes junk electronics so don't waste your money. Mine quit after 6 mos. and customer service refused to replace it. They offered to pay "parts only" if I took it to a service department. What a joke.
Summary: When I put a CD in, it would spin briefly and "--" would appear in the track screen. I tried many CDs and the player would never recognize that there was an actual CD in the system. It was returned the same day.
Summary: Radio works fine. CD player works sporadically if at all. Always takes several tries to get the CD "going" (plugged in, not a battery issue). Most often there's deceptively hopeful spinning that peters out into nothing. Bought it to play my holiday CDs. What a disappointment. Not worth returning, but now have to wait for an electronic recycling event so I don't add insult to injury but adding this clunker to the landfill.
Summary: This I bought for my 92-year old mother. I find the dials very easy to locate and use. It is easy to open the cd player cover and easy to find radio stations. The dual voltage also means I can buy it hear and take it with me to Hong Kong.
