  • Summary: He is a curious sort. One day, another robot is also sent to planet earth. Wall-e believes he may have fallen in love. This story is about the relationship and adventure of two robots. A lot of people were mix about this movie because they said there liked the first 30 minutes but when there got to the space ship there said it went down hill till then, and I didn't see what was all the fuss, because I thought this movie was amazing.

The Green Plant

Rod, FilmCrave

  • Excerpt: A robot doing the cleaning of a ruined earth, segregating wastes, putting things into order, suddenly becomes a key to the renewal of earth as another robot was sent to the planet in search of a plant. *** Wall-E is not just a cute movie, it created a statement on how humanity becomes after the advent of industrialization and technological advancements. The film, strengthened by good visuals and audio mixes, presented a good material and brilliant executions.

  • Summary: WALL-E has all the hallmarks we've come to expect from the best of the Pixar brand (excellent animation, story and humor), but this one is a standout amongst it's brethren. The creators here have managed to fill this simple tale full of genuine emotion and humor and build a believable relationship between it's main characters, all through action and without dialogue. The whole movie is charming, wondrous and fun. Not one scene falters.

  • Summary: Wall-E is a significant departure for Pixar, utilizing pure visual storytelling and very little dialogue, and relying on some interesting themes of conservation and waste. That doesn't mean the film is devoid of the usual Pixar brand of subtle visual humor and some impressive and awe-inspiring visuals. It's a charming story that shows more than it tells and never stops being interesting.

  • Summary: A great animation movie for adults. It is a little slow for children who won't understand the cuteness and themes of the film. The ending scenes almost felt like a different movie, which I think is the main reason I didn't give this 4 out of 4. I feel like I was being tested by PIXAR for how far they could take a "Child's" movie. Amazing, and a must-see for all!

  • Excerpt: Wow! This was my first time watching a animation on blu ray and Wall-E looks and sounds absolutely amazing! My surround sound was bumping from all corners with clarity and booms throughout the movie. The picture quality was absolutely amazing. I enjoyed this movie very much and highly recommend it to anyone; adult or child.

A Moving Story About A Robot In Love

Mandalorian, blu-ray.com
17 July 2012
  • Excerpt: When I first saw WALL-E back in theaters, to be honest, I wasn't very impressed. Sure I recognized that it was the most beautiful animated film ever made at the time, but the story didn't resonate with me. I wasn't moved by an impossible robot love story. A couple of years later, going against my memory of an unimpressive film, I decided to go ahead and buy it anyway. After watching it a second time, it was a completely new experience.

Robot Finds Love, Critic Finds Good Movie

JLFM, FilmCrave
12 April 2012
  • Excerpt: It's been years since I've seen Wall-E. I remember enjoying it, just like the rest of the Pixar bunch, so I got it via Netflix to see again. A wise choice. Wall-E is even better than I remember it. Wall-E is an ingenious film that occurs thousands of years in the future. Humans no longer live on the Earth due to pollution, they instead live in a giant spaceship, called the Axim. The Wall-E robots are left at Earth to clean up the mess.
