  • Summary: Vantage Point delivers an attention grabbing thriller that pulls together a complex story in the eyes of several individuals. While I was entertained and constantly wondering what was coming next, the film failed to hold me after the screening was over.

  • Summary: This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The concept was good: show different perspectives of the same event. The problem is that it's unrealistic. Not the attempt on the President, but the terrorists plan would never unfold in such a way.

  • Excerpt: Directed by: Pete Travis Starring: Dennis Quaid, Whitaker, Sigourney Weaver, Zoe Saldana. To be frank, if one forgets loose ends and logic less questions about how, come a naxalite suddenly apply brakes after seeing a small child, when he has killed thousands of people?

  • Excerpt: A terrorist plot to assassinate the president of the US of A is witnessed from differing viewpoints in the crowd, unravelling an underlying conspiracy. • Summary: Cool premise, with by-the-numbers execution and a dull ending. I found myself not looking forward to the next view, of the same situation, after the fourth time or so.

  • Summary: The premise was unoriginal, but the method of executing the story was. It was like watching a drugged up Groundhog Day. I had mixed feelings about the flick. It was inventive the way they presented the story, a few scenic shots from various perspective.

  • Summary: This movie is actually pretty good. The acting is very solid as you have a fantastic cast. The overall story moves at a great pace and stays very understandable for the audience. One thing that bothered me was how under used Sigourney Weaver was.

  • Summary: An uninspired concept makes an incredibly dull film that simply tries too hard. It wants to be clever, it wants to be an action film, a conspiracy thriller, an edge of the seat whodunnit. But it fails at every turn. Dennis Quaid is wasted here, often laughable at his attempts to be an action hero.
