Summary: He asked the question "why do bad things happen to good people". He answers it by going through the bible. This was a good heart felt movie. I was expectiing a little more but over all this was a good film.
Excerpt: Unstoppable has a few great things going for it. First of all, the cast is great. Denzel Washington, Chris Pine, Rosario Dawson and Kevin Dunn turn in good performances all around. The tension is on point for pretty much the entire time. I saw many people in the audience on the edges of their seats. Literally. I'm not just saying that because it's the cliche thing to say about a suspenseful movie.
Excerpt: This movie was a very good watch. Very well filmed, acted, written, directed... It's a movie you can put on any time. It's not too long and it keeps your attention every minute. The PQ and AQ are both excellent and make it great to watch on Blu Ray. Highly Recomended!
Summary: "Unstoppable" is an action-drama centers on Frank (Denzel Washington) and Will (Chris Pine) as they attempt to first avoid a runaway train and second stop it. I expected much from this, and I wasn't disappointed after watching. It was really an unstoppable hold throughout. Good to see Denzel and Chris Pine doing this film. Very good! Well done. And I like the side stories of their wife issues.
Excerpt: Even though there was never any real doubt as to how UNSTOPPABLE would end it managed to be engaging and quite exciting from the beginning. A small handful of cliche's (the wise veteran/ hotshot rookie dynamic, the money hungry boss and Tony Scott's use of grain in many camera shots) also could not keep this movie from being a nail biter. Denzel delivers as he always does, this time as the reluctant hero Frank Barnes, a 28yr veteran of the railroad.
A Fire of Adrenaline to the Heart... A Little Less to the Soul..

Excerpt: Some actor/director relationships are as time-tested as some of the most unbroken of marriages. Like a pair of old dogs who try to teach each other "new tricks", they (time and time again) attempt to lay down the unbroken track record of successful movies. Throughout history this has been evident with some of the greats: Scorsese and DeNiro, James Stewart and Frank Capra, Sigourney Weaver and James Cameron, Ridley Scott and Russell Crowe.
Excerpt: Hmm let see 1976's Silver Streak had a spectacular collision at the end of that picture. 1985's Runaway Train bumped & grinded it's way through a wintry background and now Unstoppable barrels out of control and unlike the previous two films mentioned, this one is inspired by true events. Director Tony Scott offers up his usual fun and popcorn take on action only this time things seemed more toned down.
