Excerpt: Unstoppable has a few great things going for it. First of all, the cast is great. Denzel Washington, Chris Pine, Rosario Dawson and Kevin Dunn turn in good performances all around. The tension is on point for pretty much the entire time. I saw many people in the audience on the edges of their seats.
Excerpt: This movie was a very good watch. Very well filmed, acted, written, directed... It's a movie you can put on any time. It's not too long and it keeps your attention every minute. The PQ and AQ are both excellent and make it great to watch on Blu Ray. Highly Recomended!
Summary: "Unstoppable" is an action-drama centers on Frank (Denzel Washington) and Will (Chris Pine) as they attempt to first avoid a runaway train and second stop it. I expected much from this, and I wasn't disappointed after watching. It was really an unstoppable hold throughout.
Excerpt: Even though there was never any real doubt as to how UNSTOPPABLE would end it managed to be engaging and quite exciting from the beginning. Excerpt: Hmm let see 1976's Silver Streak had a spectacular collision at the end of that picture. 1985's Runaway Train bumped & grinded it's way through a wintry background and now Unstoppable barrels out of control and unlike the previous two films mentioned, this one is inspired by true events.
Summary: Unstoppable was very well done. It had good action and good pacing. I also appreciate the the lack of tons of cheesy side stories that detract from a fairly simple disaster story. Chris Pine and Denzel Washington have good onscreen chemistry, which really makes this an enjoyable movie.
