Summary: As soon as the annoying James Mcavoy's character speaks directly to camera in the first five minutes of this over stylised, muddle and bore of a story I was lost to the fairies. Like a bad dream you had after a late pizza, and you wake up and think W. T. F was that all about and instantly forget it.....gone.
Summary: Wrapping up a very simplistic story with an over complicated and confusing narrative left the audience underwhelmed and very disappointed in the anti-climax. A real shame, this had the makings of a cracker.
Summary: Not one you can doze through, and even alert there are plenty of twists to make this a film that demands your attention. Enjoyed the acting, great plot and, err, stunning Rosario Dawson! One of those films you can't stop watching, say you enjoyed and almost instantly forget (except for the above) ...
Summary: Comparisons with inception are inevitable when auctioneer James McAvoy finds a physiotherapist to replay his last movements in an attempt to find a stolen painting. Flashbacks abound, and the gang McAvoy gets involved with all agree to undergo therapy to assist in the task. More flash backs. It is all good fun and well acted. In the last 30 mins it goes out the other side and starts to get boring. Just redeemed at the end, but the set up was contrived and showed it.
Summary: An art auctioneer gets involved with a gang of criminals. In order to recover a priceless lost painting, her turns to a hypnotherapist. But as reality, desire and hypnotic suggestion collide - things become complicated and more dangerous than anyone could have anticipated. This movie was a bit of a let down I mean the movie as good acting but forgettable movie.
Summary: Very difficult to follow at times but otherwise a reasonably good film. There were times when the story was a bad nightmare for one of the characters. This meant that the viewer (who is unaware that we are in nightmare mode) can be totally confused as to what is going on.
Summary: After reading some very negative reviews I wasn't sure if this film was going to be OK, but how wrong was I. Yes, confusing at first, but it sorts itself out then it's understandable. Worthwhile watching and making up your own mind, but we thought it was very good.
