Summary: The Ugly Truth about this movie is that it didn't work. The story is about a producer looking for the perfect man. Mike Alexander is a chauvinistic personality on the show. When the higher-ups decide to team the two up to test theories on relationships, an unlikely truth will be revealed.
Summary: Abby Richter (Katherine Heigl) is a high maintenance dater, producer of a lowly rated morning show about to be canceled. Her boss hires male chauvinist call-in show host Mike Chadway (Gerard Butler). Mike and Abby clash even before their first meeting.

Summary: Katherine Heigl (Abby Richter) and Gerard Butler (Mike Alexander) have good on-screen presence, some romantic comedies need this vital element. Solid performances from the 2 leads. The script was cleverly written, musical background and cinematography was okay.
Summary: There is likable chemistry between the two leads, but nothing short of the rough outlines of a plot. Butler's character goes from jerk to hero in too short of a time to sympathize and the sappy coincidences that plague the third act of the film are too laughable to forgive.
Summary: I like Romantic comedies, they humorous and never try to preach to much. Last good one I saw was Knocked Up and it was sweet. But according to the female lead in it was Sexist. Yes... okay what's your move Miss Heigl *Katherine Heigl stars in The Ugly Truth* There is no way nice way of putting this.
