The Shadow (1994) Blu Ray

the jocker, blu-ray.com
31 March 2014
  • Excerpt: Good Movie The picture is crisp and clear. Theme of the film seems to be a teal tint, which jumps off the screen. A few scenes where heavy FX was used fared the worst in regard to picture quality. Other scenes presented a thin layer of grain but nothing distracting to the eye.

Who Knows What Evil Lurks In The Hearts Of Men.....

Guydowood, blu-ray.com
5 March 2014
  • Excerpt: after his mighty successful turn as Jack Ryan in The Hunt for Red October, Alec Baldwin was pegged as the go to action actor. Miami Blues cast him as a wacky hitman. Then in 1994 he became The Shadow. A superhero of the bygone radio drama era and brought to the screen with good intentions.

Great Movie, Decent Transfer

  • Excerpt: I've loved this film since I was a kid. When I heard about the blu-ray release I was ecstatic. The biggest draw for me is the true aspect ratio. Seeing in in 16:9 is a real treat, especially since I never saw it in theaters. Now how does it look? It looks... decent.

The Shadow (1994) Blu Ray Review

filmfan2099, blu-ray.com
4 June 2013
  • Excerpt: Most people are waiting for the Shout Factory! release but this is no "hack job" restoration. The picture is crisp and clear. Theme of the film seems to be a teal tint, which jumps off the screen. New York City skyline above the "Cobalt Club" is crystal clear.
