Could be so Much Better

  • Conclusion: Having enjoyed the original Italian Job I was looking forward to this remake which I think turned out ok but could have been so much better. I love the new shaped minis & the car scenes in this so this was my reason for purchasing it on bluray. The result is very disappointing, average picture, no dolby truehd sound & extras that are the same as it was on dvd.

great movie, crappy transfer

  • Conclusion: I can't see how anyone can find this to be an excellent transfer and no, its certainly nothing to do with the type of BD player you have, its just a very bad transfer, if you believe this looks good you're either kidding or you just don;t know how it should look. It's definatily the worst one I have seen yet. Like people say, keep the DVD if you have it, that looks and sounds a 100 times better.

The Botched Job

  • Conclusion: I really liked the movie and own it on dvd. Having not seen it for a good few years I was looking forward to watching this movie with all the added attractions of blu-ray discs. I must say I really was appalled at the botched transfer that they have done for this blu-ray, the picture was grainy almost all throughout the film. Its funny because the disc opens with a trailer for paramount blu-ray discs.

  • Conclusion: If you've got the DVD don't get this, appalling quality, poor sound. Not even a clean transfer, specs etc.
