The Incredibles

Family Friendly Gaming
2 February 2013
  • Excerpt: I enjoy super hero movies, especially animated ones. It is a real honor and a pleasure for me to review The Incredibles on Blu-ray. Disney Pixar was kind enough to provide Family Friendly Gaming with the 2 disc Blu-ray + DVD + Digital Copy of The Incredibles. What amazes me to this day is the depth of this film. There are so many issues touched upon, and so many angles this movie can be looked at.

The Incredibles

BluRay Authority

  • Excerpt: “The Incredibles” is the latest animated movie to come out of Disney’s Pixar division and it continues their winning-streak. It’s hard to believe that it’s been ten years since “Toy Story” first graced the screen, introducing us to a new world of animated movies. Granted, the stories aren’t the most original out there and if they were live-action they’d be average at best.

  • Excerpt: It's been fun seeing the rest of the world come to recognize something I figured out many years earlier, that Pixar Animation Studios makes extraordinary movies. Not that this was ever a great secret. , the studio's first film, was the top-grossing film of its year. Even if it was the lowest-grossing film of the 1990s to make that claim, there was no denying its warm reception, which saw it lavished with praise, nominated for an original screenplay Academy Award, and win...

The Incredibles Review

  • Excerpt: Remember Frozone? If you’re an hour into The Incredibles , you probably don’t. He’s completely forgotten at that juncture of the film, Mr. Incredible and family investigating a secret island possibly run by a master criminal. If they don’t need poor Frozone then, it’s a mystery why he suddenly shows up at the end. Sort of takes everything out of the family, doesn’t it? Then again, maybe it didn’t need to go there at all.

The Incredibles Blu-ray Review

BigPictureBigSound
31 March 2011
  • Excerpt: The Movie The Incredibles is moviemaking at its finest, extremely ambitious to the point that it challenges the very notion of what an animated movie could, or should be. Many believed that this tale of a family of superheroes would be better suited to live action, but the freedom and the demands of digital execution brought out the best in everyone. Even with a running time of almost two solid hours ("for a cartoon?!?

The Incredibles Blu-ray Review

30 March 2011
  • Conclusion: One more down, one more to go. With the Blu-ray release of The Incredibles , fans are one step closer to Finding Nemo and owning the entire Pixar canon in high definition. And what a release it is. The quality of The Incredibles itself almost goes without saying; Bird's first Pixar production is a classic in every sense of the word. But it's Disney's passion for the film that makes this a must-own release.
